Year Three really enjoyed the visit from Shropshire Fire and Rescue and were extremely engaged in the session.
They learnt all about what to do if there is a fire, who to call, what to do if their clothes are on fire and had the opportunity to ask lots of questions to the firemen!
It was a really interesting session and very informative!
Thank you to shropshirefire for taking the time to visit.
Thank you to Miss Crook for the fabulous photos!

Driving Safety 🚗
• Slow down and leave extra space between you and the vehicle in front.
• Avoid driving through flood water – just 30cm of moving water can lift a car.
• If you can’t see how deep it is, turn around – don’t risk it.
• Use dipped headlights and be mindful of spray reducing visibility.
Water Safety 🌊
• Keep well clear of rivers, streams and flood water – banks can be slippery and unstable.
• Never try to walk or drive through flood water.
• Keep children and pets away from fast-moving or flooded areas.
• If you see someone in trouble in the water, call 999 and ask for the Fire and Rescue Service – don’t enter the water yourself.
Your local crews are ready to respond, but we’d much rather everyone stays safe and dry!
Stay alert, stay safe,
