Elm Class had a fantastic time on their walk around the local area today.
They asked brilliant questions, they were superb ambassadors for our school, and it was pleasure to accompany them around The Flash.
The children were confident to identify features in the local area, as well lots of local wildlife!

Year 3 have really enjoyed their art lessons this term. Recreating cave drawings, the children experienced using their fingers, twigs and feathers to draw and paint with. We have compared artist Laura McKendry who uses charcoal to make large gestural drawings together with the fabulous charcoal drawings of Degas. The children enjoyed creating drawings on larger paper and making loose, gestural sketches using charcoal. Well done Year3.🎨

🌳💖🌳Apley Farm Shop hosts first ever scarecrow festival
The first ever scarecrow festival will be held at Apley Farm Shop during half term, with designs submitted from nearby schools, Scouts and Beaver groups and children’s community groups near the site at Norton, on the A442 between Telford and Bridgnorth.
There will be more than 20 scarecrows on display for visitors to come and see from October 27 to November 2 and the group that is judged to have designed the top three scarecrows will win a prize.
